The room has a slight Haze in it and the camera is about 25m away from the source.

You will need to install a larger driver board for the new blue diode. The kits normally come with the diodes. If your ok with soldering then by the kit form one as it will save you about a tenner!
go ebay and a blue laser diode kit and litterally swap the laser diodes over. am am impressed with this mod and will do 4 of these for my dj rig. awesome vid mate something i was looking for.

Any chance you could post a video on how to replace the laser? As i would love to do it myself…and im good at soldering.

How did you do that ive got a cheap and crap little sondlab 5mw red laser crab and i would love to change it into blue
