3″ (76mm) diameter Premium Diamond Dry Cutting concrete core bit with specially engineered laser welded segments and tight segment spacing for faster cutting and improved balance even at high RPM’s. Segments are 10mm high and 26mm wide with small 10mm gap between segments for better performance and durability.

Blue Boar dry cutting core bits make it easy to quickly bore holes in CONCRETE BLOCK, BUILDING BRICK (non-vitrified), CONCRETE and CLAY ROOF TILES, and STONE, where a large and costly wet core drill rig is not needed, practical, or even feasible

Special slots designed for faster debris removal while boring which results in faster hole cutting and longer segment life when cutting dry and without water. No special water coolant rig is needed with its long hose, and no water to vacuum up while boring, or concrete slurry to dispose of when finished.

Extra deep 10-1/2″ cutting depth to bore through the thickest concrete cinder blocks or a double course of brick. Special cooling slots to remove cuttings faster and improve segment life. Laser welded segments will not detach when running hot as will happen with silver brazed segments used without water coolant. When a silver brazed segment comes off the core bit the balance is off, and it will be difficult to finish the hole or job until the core bit can be shipped away, repaired, and returned for use.

Standard 5/8″-11 threads for direct connection to any right angle grinder and most electric core drills. Inexpensive 7″ angle grinder can take the place of an electric core drill costing six times as much.
