What the heck?? I thought I was first! But I have a real laser controller so my NXT can turn it on and off by light sensor programming block’s command for turning light on/off…I think I’m going to make a video…
The laser is a hand held so there is a small button on the side. At 37 seconds you can see it slide a part over the button. There is a piece of paper over the laser so it doesn’t get scratched from this part moving. The pressure that holds the button down is actually produced from 2 rubber bands on the side of the assembly.
How do you make the laser turn on and off with when it needs to? i was thinking of doing something simular with an inkjet printer. any helpful advice is appreciated.
I hope you didn’t blind any planes with this laser

@x19710 you will need more than 150 mw green laser to burn black plastics and 200 mw+ to light matches

i never really made any thing really complicate unless you cal a complex one tnat walks =/
u could have also used the light sensor and a lego magnifing glass for the laser as well. it works on my lego printer.
Good work!
I’m sure it would. It would end up having different shapes on it instead of colors.
Does this work on cubes?
It would be cool to have a DIY with etching on every cubie.
