If you would like some free of charge Expained schematics and plans? Writ me back I can show you a ceramic hybrid ,
Pattern for a double acting Gama cycle that is high torque, and runs on metalic chemical reaction, rather than burning fuel.
I would love to share ideas if your willing.
The red piston isn’t displacer, it is hot piston with high dome for reduce heat conduction loses. I is hollow and fill with rock wool. The engine is PURE alpha.
Flywheel with crank (2 excentrics) is totally out of pressurized volume. 2 shaft enter Into the pressurized box. One for couple of cold pistons, other for couple of hot pistons. These 2 shaft must be wobbling with phase offset of 90 degrees, you can see this in modeling part of video.
I scrap it because the engine has a lot of unrepaired errors :(( I learned this after I bought a book “The regenerator and the Stirling engine” from Allan J Organ
Fantastic video, I’m curious though, why the 2 shafts? Although you did eliminate a sliding seal on the flywheel shaft, the other shaft still needs a sliding seal. Although I guess it does actually move less than on the flywheel shaft. Why did you scrap the engine?!
It does not look alpha to me from the animation.
@sasafed1970 I don’t see why the crank box is pressurized. The piston rings should’ve sealed the pressurized gas in the cylinders.
Impressive, Very impressive. (I also like build stirling engines and welding to). Keep go on …
Ie why did you scrap it? I am just starting out to build my own for power generation. Any tips?
What is wrong with this one?
Brilliant!
How can I help?
great work… i want some information from u… can u help?

Please correct me if I’m wrong (I think I am)
Im amazed at the power output of this engine. It’s a good inpiration
This looks more like a twin gamma. Alpha configuration doesn’t have displacement pistons
